Personal Injury Depositions sketches, in broad outline and essential detail, the tactical and strategic approaches to effectively and efficiently gather, elicit, preserve and present testimony from potential witnesses. The book is equally useful in taking or defending a deposition. A combination of specially prepared deposition forms and excerpts from actual depositions, on various topics, provide the PI lawyer with complete deposition preparation. The numerous, wide-ranging topics include: motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, other torts, imputed liability, damages, affirmative defenses, discovery of digital data, foreign witnesses and documents, experts, deposition preparation, and deposition conduct. Personal Injury Depositions will provide insight and understanding regarding problems faced when conducting personal injury depositions; aid the practitioner in formulating solutions or approaches to the problems that confront him or her; and sharpen the practitioner's skills in gathering deposition testimony in general. Though primarily a deposition aid, the treatise often provides thorough explanations and legal research addressing many issues in personal injury law.

Personal Injury Depositions contains features that are unique and practical for discovery in personal injury cases:
Information Sheets - Detailed background questions for the client which will elicit every fact needed concerning the client, witnesses, and the case facts.
Other Checklists for Case Preparation – Ensures that counsel is fully prepared to move forward and anticipate the opponent's strategy.
Written Discovery – Suggestions to better ensure that the attorney requests all information necessary to prepare for the deposition.
Digital Discovery – Practical guidance for this often complicated area.
Experts – Analysis on how to deal with experts.
Strategic Insight for Conducting the Deposition – Detailed forms and related legal analysis which guide the practitioner through each step of a deposition in a variety of areas.
