The foreign trade is the engine of the global economics. In these turbulent days, when governments and international organizations tend to protect their markets spheres of interest, the application of regulatory measures gains in importance. The Czech Yearbook of International Law - Regulatory Measures and Foreign Trade - 2013 pinpoints these trends and its various aspects on different levels in comparative analysis. The Yearbook provides insight into problematic of regulatory measures in investment law on global level same as from the EU prospective. Similarly, authors also analyze various aspects of the regulatory measures applied in the areas of financial markets and money laundering, market abuse, Common European Sales Law and Consumer Protection. Alexander Bělohlávek is Founder and Senior Partner of The Bělohlávek Law Offices, Prague. He is a Member of the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris as well as Member of the ICC Commission on International Arbitration and a Member of the National Committee of the ICC in the Czech Republic. He has acted as arbitrator or counsel in more than 170 international arbitrations and is listed as arbitrator with the international arbitral centers of several economic chambers in Central Europe. He has published numerous books and articles on arbitration and business law.
JUDr. Filip Černý graduated from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno (2007). He is currently employed as an attorney trainee in Prof. Bělohlávek’s Law Firm; he is also an external candidate for the doctoral degree at the Department of Commercial Law, Faculty of Law, Charles University. His academic interests focus on public and private international law with an emphasis on arbitration, primarily investment arbitration.

JUDr. Libor Klimek graduated from the Faculty of Law, Bratislava College of Law in 2010. He then became a PhD student at the Faculty of Law, Pan European University, Bratislava (formerly known as Bratislava College of Law). He is the author of over thirty publications, which have been published in Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Russia and naturally, in the Slovak Republic. All his research work is focused solely on the international and European aspects of Criminal Law.
JUDr. Miluše Hrnčiříková, Ph.D., graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Masaryk University in Brno. She currently lectures as an assistant professor at the Department of Commercial Law and Private International Law, Faculty of Law, Palacký University in Olomouc. Her professional interests include private international law, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
JUDr. Jan Havlíček graduated from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno, and is currently listed as a candidate for the doctoral degree in the Department of International and European Law of the Faculty of Law, MU in Brno. He is a professional guarantor for the International Commerce Module of the Centre for Economic and Legal Studies at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, MU. He is an arbitrator for domestic and international disputes.
Daniela Nováčková is an associate professor at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava and a Coordinator of the German Programme. In her academic work she has focused on European Economic Integration and Bilateral Investment Treaties. She has experience in approximation of European Law as a former expert of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic (1994-2004). She has published numerous articles in professional journals.
