MR. FORRESTER: Ladies and gentlemen, the stern discipline, Jesuit
discipline, of Barry Hawk requires that we resume our efforts promptly.
The original program called for four solid hours of debate, and on
representations that this was cruel and unusual and flew in the face of
human biology, Fordham granted an exemption, as I think it used to be
called, so that we will have a short coffee break at 3:40. Then, as they say
in Scotland, there is no rest for the wicked, because at the end of the
debates there will be a cocktail party not far from here. So even if you try
to leave early, there is no escape.
We have seven intervening parties plus myself this afternoon. The
general topic is IP and Article 82.
There is a structure to the afternoon, which is not merely
alphabetical. I will describe it to you. We will have a short introductory
